Special Operations Dog Handler

Special Operations Dog Handler

Special Operations K-9s – also known as Multi-Purpose Canines, or MPC’s, and Combat Assault Dogs, or CAD’s – are elite working dogs deployed by military and specialized law enforcement units. These highly trained canines support critical missions by detecting explosives, improvised explosive devices, or IEDs, and other hazardous materials.

They lead the way in high-risk environments, performing scouting, patrolling, infiltration, and ambush detection. Their capabilities extend to tracking and apprehending suspects, maintaining order, and crowd control. In some cases, these dogs are even trained to rappel or parachute alongside their handlers, ensuring they can operate in virtually any terrain or combat scenario.

Loyal, fearless, and mission-ready, these K-9s are an indispensable force multiplier in both police and military special operations. Our K-9 Units are some of our most important military and law enforcement heroes. Help us celebrate these heroes – they deserve our admiration and respect.
