That's correct! The United States Marine Corps has been a component of the Department of the Navy since June 30, 1834, proudly serving alongside its sister service, the United States Navy. The Marine Corps maintains a global presence, operating both from land-based installations and aboard amphibious warfare ships. In addition to their ground and sea capabilities, Marine Fighter Attack Squadrons are often integrated into Navy carrier air wings, operating from aircraft carriers as an essential element of U.S. naval aviation power.
Join us in celebrating the United States Marine Corps and her sister branch, the United States Navy. The brave men and women of our military services, whether they are currently serving, have served in the past, or are retired – they are all heroes! Your courage and dedication inspire us all.
