"In God We Trust" – Etched in Honor, Rooted in Faith
“In God We Trust” is the official national motto of the United States, as well as the motto for the state of Florida. It was officially adopted in 1956 by President Dwight D. Eisenhower. The phrase has also been used on US coins and other currencies since the Civil War.
